Ayuda en Mexico

This year we will go to Mexico for our 21st consecutive year on October 10 - 21, 2007. We will take $15,000 to buy basic food items such as: pinto beans, flour, sugar, oil, soups, oranges, salt, and rice. Each of 1,000 families will receive a despensa with the food and also a packet of toiletry items, a bag of candy and a handmade quilt.
In addition, we are taking this year: 1000 quilts, desks for children, school supplies for 1000 children, 50 baby blankets, 600 hand-knitted caps, 500 articles of new clothing, 500 toy cars, 500 coloring books/crayons, 500 Frisbees, 1000 children’s coats, 1000 new toys, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, 100 pair new shoes, new socks, gloves, 30 shovels, hammers, adult diapers and lots of fun candy for everyone!!!
