AEM

Through the years AEM has learned that the people needed food and warmth more than any other gifts. One year they learned of a small child who had died from exposure to the cold. So…… quilts started being made each Monday all year long in the local church. Each of the members would look for remnants of fabric and buy yarn at yard sales and then scrape up money to buy rolls of batting to make the quilts.
Another time it was learned that another child had perished from hunger. Hence, the idea to give basic food items to help the people through the cold winter months when work is scarce. Our group is called, AEM (Aim) or Ayuda en Mexico, (Aid in Mexico). We have only 8 members in our group and we have formed a 501c3 non-profit organization to receive donations.
